Default Better tank build, help.

I've been playing this game for a while, and I've had my tank for a while. It's just that I would usually do damage output with my war instead of just trying to stay alive. Well, I wanted to switch to a build to where I could just survive instead of putting out damage cause that's what I have my assassin for
Anyway...One of the skills that was recommended to me was Healing Hands, when I don't really like that skill because it gets removed very easily. I'll usually put in IWAY to use when HH stops, but a lot of times no one is dead and i'm taking damage like mad and HH is useless. That and the only reason why I use Monk secondary is because of Restore Life and Rebirth..I'll use any other secondary if I can. So, for a while I was using Defy Pain and I was doing very well, but the problem is I had to put down IWAY on the build also and I can only survive if most of the party is dead. Can anyone make my build better, or help me out in anyway? I can be any secondary if I need to change my secondary. I use Knight's Armor because of the update that they did for each piece that and I kind of prefer it over most armors.

These are my stats and skills
W/Healing Hands (I know, bad runes)
9 Healing Prayers, 10+2 Strength, 7+3 Axe Mastery, 10+1 Tactics
Healing Signet, Healing Hands, Disrupting Chop, Dolyak Signet, "Watch Yourself!", "I Will Avenge You!", Bonetti's Defense, Rebirth/Restore Life
W/Defy Pain (Also...bad stats..lol)
12+2 Strength, 8+3 Axe Mastery, 10+1 Tactics
Healing Signet, Defy Pain, "Shields Up", Dolyak Signet, "Watch Yourself", Bonetti's Defense, "I Will Avenge You", Rebirth.

I have full set of Knight's Armor, with Superior Absorption, Major Vigor, Superior Axe Master, Minor Tactics and a Minor Strength.

Thanks

alot of PvP based warriors are either HH or GD's, takes time to come up with original builds, for pve take IWAY out its not needed the monk will do the job if needed and you use alot of stances so buy or get the collector version stance sheild, also you pack way to many -health runes IMO, what i would carry is

-- Sup Abso
-- Sup Vig
-- Min whatever
-- Major whatever

you will find you have more health to stay alive with

also a weapon upgrade +30 mod are usefull if u pack another major rune

also take some fighting skills, make your opponent bleed and deep wound him/her benifits the team and well when there dead you dont need to stay alive

IMO i wouldnt use HH, use other elites, or kick the elite you dont need to always have one you know :P

something that uses adrenelin so when you hit bonettis you can hit back with dragon slash or something

a disruption skill like distracting blow or something caus if u disable a skill that will caus major damage you THEN have the oppertunity to take that person out

hope i helped it was late when i typed this and so i hope it makes sense

with the skills you have listed you shouldnt have any problems staying alive. i run watchyourself with my glad armor and somtimes dolyaks signet but i also use a crimson carapace shield and try to stay in a stance constantly. personaly i wouldnt rune a sup weapon rune i hate taking the -75hp. hit. and i have notice that a +5armor mod will do you better vs damage but the +life is way better vs degen. and as for healing hands i have never had much luck with it. i would rather use glads defense and shield stance to prevent the damage (with 14k tactics you can keep these 2 up almost all the time there is a few seconds down time) then just trying to take the damage and cover it up with HH.

anyways hope this helps
ps. with swords and axes shield selection can really make or break you.
